About Native PDF

PDF tools that do their work inside your browser. The file you pick is read and processed on your own device and is not sent to any server.

What it is

Native PDF brings together everyday PDF tools: compress, merge, split, convert to Word, Excel or JPG, rotate, organize, number pages, add a watermark and crop.

The tools are free, require no sign-up and add no watermark to the result.

How it works

When you open a tool, the site hands your browser the program that does the work. Processing happens right there, in the background, using your device's memory and processor.

  • The content of your file is not sent to our servers or to anyone else's.
  • The result is created on your device and downloaded straight from it.
  • Some tools download extra components from our site when you need them, such as the language models used for text recognition (OCR). That traffic goes from the site to you; your file does not travel with it.

Check it yourself

You don't have to take our word for it. On a computer, open your browser's developer tools (F12), go to the Network tab, process a file and watch: no request carries your document.

The optional satisfaction survey at the end of each tool only sends what you type into it.

Security measures

  • Scripts, attachments and automatic actions embedded in a PDF are removed from the files we generate.
  • Each tool has size and page limits so that a malformed file cannot freeze your browser, and processing can be cancelled at any time.
  • The site goes through internal security testing before every major release.

Who makes it

Native PDF is an independent project, built and maintained in Brazil. There is no incorporated company yet; when there is, its legal name and registration number will be listed in the Terms of Use.
